The weekend\u2019s excitement has come to an end and we are all home again. I was very glad to see everyone. I know they wouldn\u2019t leave me, but there are always those little thoughts running through your head, what if they don\u2019t pick me up! I did get into bed with Grandpa again, he didn\u2019t mind too much the first time so I thought it was worth a second shot. He didn\u2019t curl round me in the same way my Mistress does, but it was nice to be snuggled up close and on a decent bed. Shadow hasn\u2019t uploaded her pictures of her and her family yet, so you\u2019ll have to wait to see that. She said seeing six of her children all at one time was great and she felt quite proud.<\/p>\n
It turns out that the stud dog she was hoping to go to is away at Christmas so she has to sit down with my Mistress and look at a couple of other possibilities. To be honest, when she\u2019s in season she\u2019s not that fussy so I don\u2019t know what all the time spend on it is all about.<\/p>\n
At least that\u2019s the last weekend we\u2019re away for a while, for which my Mistress is very grateful. She says there\u2019s so much to do to catch up that she doesn\u2019t know where to start. I\u2019d offer to help, but I\u2019d only be in the way and I\u2019m at that stage where choosing between working hard or napping is not a difficult choice. I was a little bit stressed being separated from my Mistress so I\u2019ve got home feeling very tired indeed. Today will be spent mostly in my bed, by my Mistress\u2019s side, with her having to remember not to run over any stray ears with the wheels of her desk chair.<\/p>\n
