I was a good dog for most of the day. I sat quietly in the back seat for the rest of the drive to Switzerland, but then I saw Megan. Oh don\u2019t get me wrong, on the whole it was ok, but the old jealousy kicked in on both our parts. My Mistress could not make a fuss of one of us without the other one getting upset. I showed my annoyance by peeing where I shouldn\u2019t, which is usually my starting point, but then I was put in the car for a few minutes so that my Mistress could fuss Megan. Normally I don\u2019t have to be told to leave the bags in the car alone, but my nose was out of joint and I was fed up. I am supposed to have one jointcare bar a day. I\u2019d already had todays. Well, I\u2019ve had five more now as well. My Mistress\u2019s response was that it would serve me right if they made me quite ill, which I think was rather mean. I was more looking for \u2018Oh Alfie, I\u2019m sorry I spent time with Megan when you wanted me to spend time with you.\u2019 I\u2019m going to be spending part of the day with Megan tomorrow so I hope my Mistress has learnt her lesson and doesn\u2019t fuss Megan in preference to me. She says she has learnt her lesson and she won\u2019t be leaving any food anywhere I can find it! That is not the point I was trying to make and she knows it. Anyway, my Mistress will mostly be spending today talking about dogs. She will be very happy doing that. One of the bits will be which stud dog Shadow will use \u2013 hopefully Shadow will be very happy about that part of the day. I\u2019ll be looking out for her interests as best I can.<\/p>\n
