Shadow is well enough to stay at home and I\u2019m going on holiday today. Oh I need a break. You know that feeling when you\u2019ve had a few stressful weeks and you really feel you have earned the right to put your paws up? Well that\u2019s how I feel right now. While Shadow has been ill, Ari has been vying for top dog. The problem is that he gets all excited and bossy about it and makes my life miserable. For all her faults, Shadow does at least rule with an iron fist in a velvet glove, up to the point at which we cross the line. Ari, he just throws his weight around and is not great to be around. I\u2019m hoping that now Shadow is much better she will put him back in his place while I\u2019m away and I can come back to a few months of harmony up to the point her next season starts and she goes all submissive again. What is it with women and hormones? Mind you, where I\u2019m going there are three girls in season so that\u2019s not great either. Although the good news is that Megan is in season and she is always milder in nature when her hormones kick in and not so mean to me.<\/p>\n
Anyway, my bags are packed and I\u2019m ready to get into the car. I think I\u2019ve got everything and my Mistress has promised we can go to the pet shop in Switzerland to buy my favourite vanilla flavoured biscuits so I\u2019m not going to go short of treats. We\u2019re going to be in the car for most of the day, but I only have to share the back seat with the cool box, so I\u2019m planning to stretch out and snooze my way along the journey.<\/p>\n
