I\u2019m getting worried about my holiday. I know this is going to sound incredibly selfish and it is, but I don\u2019t want Shadow to go instead of me. It all started late on Saturday night. Shadow started being more ill again. She had an upset stomach and the bit that worried my Mistress was that she was shaking. Off she went to the vet for a late night visit. She was running a temperature again and has inflammation in her stomach so had to have more antibiotic injections and is feeling very sorry for herself. The problem is that my Mistress has said if there is any doubt as to her being completely well then she will take Shadow on holiday to make sure she can keep an eye on her and give her the best of care and that would mean I would stay here so Aristotle has some company. I\u2019ve already faced the disappointment of finding that my father\u2019s human will be on holiday when we are there so I won\u2019t get to meet him on this trip, I really don\u2019t want to have to think about missing out on the trip altogether. She\u2019s supposed to be going to have an eye test in Solihull on Wednesday, but that may be cancelled depending on how much she has improved today.<\/p>\n
My grandparents left first thing yesterday so I was a bit down about that too. I do like having them around and all the extra fuss I get. I\u2019m going to stay with them for a weekend in a couple of weeks so at least I\u2019ve got that to look forward to. Grandpa wants me to help with the gardening and I\u2019ll be only too happy to oblige depending on what it is he wants done. Fruit gathering is my favourite.<\/p>\n
