It is very easy in life to continue along blithely, assuming that everything will stay the same and if there was something that was good it will still be there when you go back for it. When it doesn\u2019t turn out that way it always comes as an unpleasant surprise. I know many of you like the lovely photos of me and my Mistress which were taken about 4 years ago by a really nice photographer called Dean of Red Jester Photography. Well, my Mistress and her best friend decided that for the last year\u2019s Christmas present to each other they would have some photos done. I know it\u2019s nearly August but they are only just getting round to it and it turns out that our lovely photographer is not doing his photography anymore which is a real shame. I had thought maybe I would go back to him sometime too, but that\u2019s not going to be possible. Life moves on. It\u2019s sad but that\u2019s how it is. I guess sometimes the moving on is about positive things and that\u2019s good but sometimes it\u2019s about change that is harder to take and it takes a while to adjust.<\/p>\n
I caught my Mistress looking at flights to Iceland yesterday. She says now she has managed to get back on a plane she needs to make up for lost time and visit the places she wants to go but has put off. I don\u2019t think it\u2019s a good thing as it means I get left at home. At least while she drove everywhere it was easy for at least one of us to accompany her. I suppose I shouldn\u2019t complain too much seeing as it\u2019s only just over a week now until I set off on my first summer trip with her.<\/p>\n
