We all had to wait until the evening for a walk yesterday as the daytime was much too hot. We all moaned the day before that it was too hot to do anything. I think there was only my Mistress that actually enjoyed the weather. She has said that for the weekend if we go out during the day she will get the cool coat out for us to try. It was Megan\u2019s really, so none of us is used to wearing it. I must admit that having it described as being permanently covered in cool water did not endear the prospect to me.<\/p>\n
Shadow has had a slightly poorly paw for some weeks. It does not seem to be responding to anything. She has tried an anti-inflammatory spray and an anti-fungal spray. She has tried complete rest. None of it has made any difference at all. She is having it x-rayed on Tuesday. There is some thickening of the toe which suggests some injury or other.<\/p>\n
We\u2019d got all the windows open yesterday to keep the temperature inside at a lower level, but unfortunately one of our neighbours had a bonfire, so what it actually did was filled the office with smoke, which wasn\u2019t very nice for any of us. I guess if you are gardening it probably looked the perfect day to have a bonfire.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m pleased to say I am making good progress with the first draft of the Pet Dogs Democratic Party Manifesto. Obviously it will have to go out to our members before it can be published, but it should be out in plenty of time for the election. Then I just need to find out what I need to do for a party political broadcast \u2013 maybe I could do a Youtube version for everyone to download.<\/p>\n
