I am delighted to say that my Mistress was given the all clear for her America trip yesterday and is now counting down the day until she sets off. It\u2019s been a long time since she has travelled as far as that and a long time since she has been on an aeroplane. I\u2019m focussing more on the fact that it is a long time since we have been apart for quite so long and I\u2019m not so happy with that idea. I know she will worry about me while she\u2019s away as much as I will worry about her, but to be honest I am counting down the days until she comes back rather than goes. She\u2019s promised to ring me every day so that I can tell you what she\u2019s up to. I\u2019m not sure how the whole time difference thing is going to work, and I don\u2019t even think all her time is in the same time zone, but I\u2019m sure we\u2019ll sort something out.<\/p>\n
Shadow is at the stage of her season where she would really like to mate with a dog. I think just about any dog would do and in the absence of \u2018any\u2019 dog she keeps pestering me. She doesn\u2019t bother Aristotle, which is probably a blessing, but she just will not leave me alone. I find it very distressing when I\u2019m trying to find a nice spot to pee and she is standing there with her bottom in my face. The times she is on her own are probably even worse as she has taken to howling. She is sleeping downstairs at the moment and she keeps waking us in a morning with her howling. I guess there are only a few more days until she is back to normal.<\/p>\n
