Any of you who know my Mistress will realise that one thing she is not good at is taking it easy. Maybe, all that is changing. For once she is trying to take some time off work. She can\u2019t put everything aside as it is her own business, but she is doing what she can to reduce the workload for eight whole weeks over the summer and she has promised that as part of that she will spend more time doing things with us. As long as that does not interfere with my nap routines I will be more than happy. She is talking about finding some different places for us all to go walking. That may of course be more for Shadow as she can walk further than either Ari or me, but it\u2019s a nice idea. Don\u2019t get me wrong I love walking on the paths around the village, but sometimes it\u2019s good to at least check you are not missing out on anything a little further afield.<\/p>\n
I\u2019d love to tell you what we have got for my human maternal grandfather for father\u2019s day on Sunday, but I have been sworn to secrecy. I know he\u2019s going to like it and I\u2019ve checked it all out myself to make sure it is absolutely right. I\u2019m trying to get my Mistress to take a photograph so that she can show you after he has seen it. It is very hard trying to decide what to buy for someone who is going to be 89 later in the year. By now he\u2019s had chance to buy most of the things he wants and a fair few he doesn\u2019t. This, however, is definitely something he doesn\u2019t have. Of course that may be because he didn\u2019t want one but we will have to wait to see about that.<\/p>\n
