Today is THE big day. A day that we have waited for a long time. Crufts starts today and for the first time ever Entlebuchers will appear in the show ring. Not only that but the first ones ever are all from Shadow\u2019s puppies. Three of her puppies have qualified, Addie who is Ari\u2019s full sister and is 2 \u00bd years old should be there but sadly her human has a poorly shoulder and can\u2019t drive the long journey to get there. Dickens (Bumble) and Basil (Beethoven) who are now just over a year old will be there. Aristotle and my Mistress will be there to cheer them on. My Mistress has to collect a real rosette for being one of the year\u2019s top breeders in our category, which is very exciting too. Good luck Dickens and Basil we\u2019re all rooting for you.<\/p>\n
For the rest of the day Aristotle will be \u2018manning\u2019 the Discover Dogs stand for our breed. Do go and say hello to him if you are there. This will be his third time. He\u2019s quite good at it as he doesn\u2019t mind being pulled in all direction by small children. Megan was very good at it too and used to enjoy all the fuss, it\u2019s a shame she can\u2019t be here for it. Shadow says she would have liked to have been there to support her sons but she does feel she\u2019s earned a bit of a rest and to be honest I can\u2019t blame her.<\/p>\n
My Mistress is excited too as she is going to see a number of her friends while she is in the Midlands. With living so much further north now, she doesn\u2019t see them very often and she misses them. I tell her she\u2019s got me so shouldn\u2019t mind so much. Ari is having some time with our grandparents while she goes out and he likes that because he get spoiled by Grandpa. I shall get to see them in another week so I don\u2019t mind too much.<\/p>\n
