Oh happy day! My Mistress is ready to throw a party to celebrate today. We have some decent weight gains. After an average gain of only 52g yesterday today\u2019s average is a massive 168g. I know that may sound a lot but it is normal \u2013 not every day but certainly on some.<\/p>\n
Chekov is the leading puppy. He weighs 3070g, which is 190g more than he did yesterday morning. Then Cinderella and Cracker both weigh 3030g. Cinderella added 190g and Cracker 240g \u2013 that\u2019s almost a quarter of a kilogram in one day! It makes yesterday\u2019s poultry gain of 10g look as though the scales were fibbing! Then comes Casanova. He now weighs 2720g, an increase of 150g on yesterday. Cosette weighs 2690g which is a smaller increase at only 110g but still good. Finally little Cuddles. She now weighs 2370g and increase of 130g on yesterday. We are just hoping that they have now turned a corner and my Mistress might be able to relax a little. It doesn\u2019t help that Shadow doesn\u2019t have very much milk. Some teats are completely empty so with all six trying to feed it is hard work for them to find milk. They are at the stage now though where they need to depend on Shadow rather less. It is hard on the puppies, but they have to be ready to go off to their new homes in just a few short weeks.<\/p>\n
