It\u2019s a very big day for half the puppies today. Cosette, Casanova and Chekov are all going to meet their humans for the first time today. There is a lot of excitement in the pen and puppies saying they want to look their best. To be honest they are so cute that for that one they will not have to try very hard.<\/p>\n

The house temperature is gradually being reduced now they are a little older. My Mistress keeps dropping the thermostat by a degree or so and then seeing how they do. She hasn\u2019t turned it off at night yet but that will happen soon. She wants to make sure they are ok with the slightly lower temperature first.<\/p>\n

There is a complicated system going on with the food. They are all being given a mix that is two parts milk and baby food and one part wet puppy food, but when that has been finished Cuddles is being offered a bowl of just the milky baby food as she doesn\u2019t seem quite ready for the puppy mix. She will be phased onto the puppy food more slowly as she is ready. It will be interesting to see how weigh in goes. She may be offered the bottle of milk too as an extra top up to help her build up her strength. She\u2019s lively enough and just as happy to pounce on her brothers and sisters as they are on her, it\u2019s just that she\u2019s gaining more slowly.<\/p>\n
