\"IMG_0831\"<\/a>The puppies are sleeping though the night. How exciting is that? They went to bed at 10pm after a really good meal and didn\u2019t wake up until 6am this morning for their breakfast \u2013 even then it was only when my Mistress started turning lights on. A couple of them had been up in the night to go to the toilet but there was no real fuss and they were all happy little puppies this morning, especially when breakfast was brought in \u2013 they completely cleared the tray of food, which from my point of view was less good!<\/p>\n

Today is a play day for them. They have had so many new experiences over the last few days that today they will be given the chance to sleep and play without too many new things to distract them. They will get to try a different baby food in the mix later and the amount of puppy milk in it will be reduced. My Mistress is aiming to have them on normal puppy food by the middle of next week, but at the rate they are going it may be a little sooner.<\/p>\n

When Shadow goes in to feed them she now stays standing up as you will see in the picture. The puppies have very little difficulty in reaching the teats now and don\u2019t always stand up themselves, but can still reach while sitting. The next stage will be for Shadow not to go in to them after every meal. She is already feeding them for a shorter time before walking away \u2013 although she does sometime let them carry on if they can catch her.<\/p>\n
