For once the weight gains have all gone well. Fair enough so Cinderella was still crying for food long after the others went to sleep and ended up getting a second helping. She\u2019s got a good pair of lungs! Chekov added 100g and is now 1560g. Cracker added 110g and is 1530g. Casanova added 110g and is 1520g. Cinderella added 110g and is now 1500g. The little ones didn\u2019t add quite so much but their weight gains are happily in proportion. Cosette added 80g to reach 1390g and Cuddles added 90g to reach 1230g. They all seem very happy and healthy and have said they are excited about the possibility of trying lapping food tomorrow, but we shouldn\u2019t have too high expectations of them and could we still have a bottle or two prepared just in case. We\u2019ve been there before and know full well that tomorrow they are more likely to walk in it than eat it! We will change feeding round and instead of Shadow going in first to give them milk, they will try the puppy gruel and then Shadow can go in to clean them up and wash their faces before they go back to what milk is available.<\/p>\n
They will meet the first of their prospective owners this weekend. We aren\u2019t sure which one is going where yet, not completely anyway. It\u2019s going to be hard for them because they really are going to be spread out across the country. The boys are going to Devon and Aberdeen and the girls will cover west to east from Northern Ireland to Norwich.<\/p>\n
