I found myself skipping round the office for no apparent reason. I couldn’t resist playing with her and we had an amazing chase round the garden together. I have to say it did really cheer me up, I’d been a right misery yesterday morning. We were waiting for a delivery so my Mistress was later walking Megan than she normally is. Normally after Megan’s walk I have a couple of hours with my Mistress while Megan sits in the other room, but yesterday that didn’t happen. In the end I was making a complete nuisance of myself crying in the kitchen. There is no point when you are upset blubbing quietly, that doesn’t get you any attention, so I whimpered and blubbered quite noisily with the end result that rather than the sympathy I was expecting or at least hoping for, my Mistress got cross with me for being so unhelpful. She’s a hard woman. Then I sat blubbing because she’d got cross with me. As it turned out the delivery wasn’t going to come anyway and is now scheduled for Friday so I may have to go through it all again. This time I shall try to me a bit more manly and not blubber all day.

Today’s picture is of Aristotle with his mum and his sisters. Unfortunately his three brothers weren’t there. It would be amazing to get all seven of them together but that is really hard to do with them all living so far apart. I suppose that’s why Photoshop was invented, so that you can take separate pictures and then make it look like they were all together. It doesn’t have the same smell to it as actually getting together though.

Left to right – Dora (Avril), Soggeli (Annette), Aristotle, Shadow and behind her Addie (Adrienne)

Alfie’s Diary – the Book is available at Amazon UK –https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00583ZGSA

You can find short stories to read at www.alfiedog.com

Shadow’s hormones are now affecting my behaviour as well.
