Aristotle rang to say they saw Megan and she seemed very settled and happy. He was delighted to see her and they had a good run together, but weren\u2019t somewhere they could be off lead which was a shame. Ari said he was getting into trouble for wrapping his extending lead around a tree at regular intervals and they did keep tangling each other up. He was fed up that my Mistress promised him an ice cream and there weren\u2019t any he could have in the shop, and after you\u2019ve been promised ice cream a bowl of water really isn\u2019t quite the same. Fortunately the rain kept off for most of their walk, but started at the end when they were having a drink so everyone was very happy to get back into the cars. Megan was a bit sad saying goodbye and so was my Mistress, but on the whole everyone was very happy with how it is all going. Megan sent us all her love and of course Aristotle passed on all our messages to her.<\/p>\n
Ari said that he and my Mistress are getting the hang of sleeping in a single bed together. He said that to be honest it was in his interests to find a way to make it work or he was going to have to sleep in the dog bed again. He can\u2019t understand how I like getting under the covers, he found that too warm and insisted on sleeping on top. After the amount of walking he\u2019d done he was expecting to sleep like a log last night.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m looking forward to seeing them home later.<\/p>\n
At least with the weather I haven\u2019t had to worry too much about watering the vegetables. They seem to be getting enough without my help.<\/p>\n
