Yesterday I mainly spent my day watching people work and I\u2019d just like to say how tiring that can be. My Mistress decided that it was about time to do lots of those little odd jobs that have been waiting a while, like changing the batteries in the outside clock\u2026 which stopped last October! She cleaned the summerhouse and sorted out some odd little plumbing jobs and so the list went on. My Master cut the grass while my Mistress did the edges and he\u2019s offered to look at the tap my Mistress can\u2019t work out how to fix. Given the last time my Master went anywhere near a plumbing job it required a plumber, a builder and a decorator to repair the damage – I\u2019m not so sure that\u2019s a good idea! They did stop eventually but by that point my Mistress was about ready to go to sleep. She says she worked hard so that she can take today off, but I\u2019ll believe that when I see it. I do know they are planning to go to the Alne Street Fayre today, but fortunately they aren\u2019t expecting me to go, which is good as I\u2019m not keen on crowds. I\u2019m just looking forward to the walk later on, which won\u2019t involve any crowds at all. Your lucky round here if you see another person when you\u2019re out walking \u2013 or unlucky as the case may be. There\u2019s just us and the fields and that\u2019s the way it should be, as far as I\u2019m concerned anyway.<\/p>\n
I\u2019ve had a bit of an argument with Ari. I\u2019m fed up that he\u2019s going to see my grandparents next weekend and I\u2019m not. My Mistress has said it is only because he wants to see Megan and I don\u2019t but that\u2019s not the point. She took him last time. It\u2019s my turn. I could stay with my grandparents rather than go to see Megan, I\u2019m sure they\u2019d be ok with that.<\/p>\n
