Poor Megan is not very well. The tummy problem she had the other week has all started again. She\u2019s feeling very sorry for herself and my Mistress feels very torn, wanting to go to see her but worrying that will only make it harder for her to settle. We still love you Megan, even though you\u2019re away at the moment. It won\u2019t be forever. Get well soon.<\/p>\n
In the ongoing excitement of the vegetable gardening the peas are now coming through as well. Thursday night there was nothing to see and yesterday morning there they were. It\u2019s amazing to watch. No sign of the carrots, parsnips, fennel or squash yet.<\/p>\n
My Master has decided now that he\u2019s fifty, it\u2019s time to have a well thought out and carefully planned mid-life crisis, so he\u2019s taking up potholing. He\u2019s assured us that it\u2019s perfectly safe and even said we could go with him, though we declined his offer. None of us was ready to have that type of mid life crisis, we\u2019re too busy planning ones of our own! I blame my Mistress really. If she will keep telling him he should get out there and do something instead of playing computer games all weekend, she can\u2019t really complain when he does just that. She spoke to my Granny, expecting a little support in worrying about him, only to be told that Granny did that at 16 and he\u2019ll be fine. Apparently there are loads of caves under parts of the county we live in, so he won\u2019t have to travel very far. My Mistress thinks it\u2019s ironic that a man who hates to go out when it\u2019s wet is now happy to go into wet areas below ground. There is a certain illogicality to it all. Anyway, never one to miss an opportunity, my Mistress has wanted a new bike for a while and says when he has spent that amount of money on equipment to go potholing she will buy her bicycle.<\/p>\n
