I have told you all along how intelligent we are as a breed, with the notable exception of Shadow, well Bella is doing really well with her training. Her human has moved her on from the basic stuff to some more practical commands and Bella can now turn the side lamp on and off on command. She will, when told, go and push the button for the lamp. I was however alarmed when my Mistress said she should get Bella\u2019s human to come to start working with us. It\u2019s not that I don\u2019t want to do stuff, it\u2019s that I don\u2019t want to do it on command.<\/p>\n
There was a discussion in our house yesterday about which member of the family was most weird. The discussion was limited to the humans, but even so I came into the equation. After my Mistress had accused my Master of living in a fantasy world, because he spends all his time lost in computer games worlds, he came out with the line \u2018Well at least I don\u2019t think my dog has written his diary for the last seven years.\u2019\u2026 \u2018Think\u2019! I was mortified, what does he think I do with my time? Has he never read any of what I write? I stood behind my Mistress and glared at him. I\u2019ve also withdrawn his opportunity to cuddle me until he apologises.<\/p>\n
Megan has agreed to go and stay away from home for a few months to see if it will help her in getting pregnant. She\u2019s promised to write and we\u2019ve said we\u2019ll visit her, but it\u2019s going to be very strange without her around. She will be coming back at the end of it and hopefully it will help her to become pregnant, so in the long run it will be worth it, but it will be quiet without her here.<\/p>\n
