This was one occasion when winning dog most like its owner was not something my Mistress was hoping to achieve. Megan is not pregnant. It doesn\u2019t seem to matter what she tries she just doesn\u2019t end up pregnant. My Mistress is very upset as it has reminded her of all of her own shortcomings and the fact that she too couldn\u2019t have children. Now she has to decide what to do next. She simply cannot afford to keep trying to get Megan pregnant, all the trips to Switzerland and the Netherlands and the various stud dogs don\u2019t come cheap. The first decision is whether she is going to send Megan for some fertility tests to see if they can identify the problem, but then that all costs money too. I\u2019m keeping well out of the way except when she needs a cuddle. I\u2019m keeping out of Megan\u2019s way altogether!<\/p>\n
It wasn\u2019t a good day all round yesterday. My Mistress went to see the doctor about her food allergies and intolerances and he was very nice but said he had absolutely no idea of anything he could do to help. By the time she came home from that she was not in a good mood.<\/p>\n
On a more positive note, James has managed to plant all of the fruit trees, the blueberry bushes and the strawberry plants so there will be plenty of fruit to look forward to in the summer or more likely next year if we remember to look after them. Therein lies the problem. My Mistress is very good at looking after us but not so good when it comes to the plants. Our attempts are not usually appreciated as apparently what I water the plants with isn\u2019t good for them!<\/p>\n
