Today I am mainly making the most of any peace and quiet I can get. This is the last day of just the three of us at home, quietly together with my Mistress. After today either she isn\u2019t here or there will be another dog as well. Amigo will come back here on Wednesday even if it is just briefly and then before we know it Megan will be home and we\u2019ll have to readjust to being a four dog household. My Mistress has sat me down and said I\u2019m going to have to cope with Megan getting a lot of attention over the next few weeks. In theory I\u2019m fine with that, but I know the reality will be much more difficult. If I\u2019m being honest, I\u2019m finding getting older quite a difficult and at times a traumatic process. What I really want is a nice quiet life of just my Mistress and me and then maybe an occasional playmate. At most I could cope with being in a two dog household. I suppose I could even cope with being one of four if the others didn\u2019t pick on me. It\u2019s not easy being a pacifist in this world.<\/p>\n
Did I tell you that my Mistress and Master needed fancy dress for this weekend they are going to? I\u2019m sworn to secrecy as to what they have settled on, but I\u2019m hoping I might be able to bring you a photograph after the event. If I can get one I\u2019ll post it and then see if you can guess what comedy they are. I think I can probably get away with saying that there are some very silly hats and some fun children\u2019s toys involved- I think if I say anything more than that I\u2019m going to get into big trouble.<\/p>\n
