Wrinkles are normally seen as a bad thing. They are nature\u2019s way of proving you aren\u2019t as young as you\u2019d like to think and on humans they can be pretty noticeable. To be fair they can show the kindness and humour in a face, but they can also show worry and bitterness and most of all years! Anyway, enough of philosophising, for once my Mistress is very happy to see some wrinkles. Up until now her hand has been so badly swollen from her operation that the skin was tight and painful. Yesterday she went for her second session of physiotherapy and the lovely lady used ultrasound on her swollen hand to help with the blood flow and to reduce the swelling. By later in the afternoon my Mistress was positively celebrating the sight of wrinkles. She\u2019s hoping it will mean she can start doing her exercises and getting a bit more movement back in her hand. The physio said that it\u2019s not necessarily doing as well as some might but it\u2019s doing ok and it is still early days. She has at least got to the point where she can drive a little bit and what\u2019s one of the first things she\u2019s going to do? She\u2019s taking Aristotle swimming! He\u2019s not happy. He was quite enjoying not having to go, but to be fair, even he had to admit that his leg has been much better as a result of having built up his muscles. She\u2019s said if he\u2019s good he can go to the pet shop too, so now I\u2019m sulking as I\u2019d like to go to the pet shop, although not combined with going swimming! Of course she may have a problem getting there as the road is flooded and the one you can go round to avoid the flood is closed for the day. I hope she leaves enough time for the long way round!<\/p>\n
