I\u2019ve lived with them for over 7 years so it really shouldn\u2019t come as any surprise that they are mad, but every so often they have conversations which leave me even more certain of their insanity. They have booked to go on a murder mystery weekend. That would be bad enough for most people. You can\u2019t go round spending the whole weekend killing people or even pretending to, or at least you\u2019d think not. Anyway, that is not why they are mad, it goes much further than that. When they go they have to pretend to be someone other than themselves, or at least they can pretend to be if they want to. And, as you\u2019ve guessed, they want to. I don\u2019t know which of them is more worrying. My Master wants to go as a man who, for his career, put\u2019s the gnomes into mice, keyboards and computers to make them work without wires. That\u2019s bad enough, but my Mistress intends to be the only paid employee of the Pet Dogs Democratic Party and spend all of her time talking to people about the issues affecting dogs. She says she may even wear one of her sweatshirts with a slogan on it for good measure. They haven\u2019t even begun to work out their fancy dress costumes for the second night of the weekend.<\/p>\n
My Mistress\u2019s physiotherapy did not go well yesterday. First of all they told her it will be about 4 weeks after her operation before she can drive. Then they gave her loads of completely impossible exercises to do. She is being very good and doing what she has been told, but now her hand is hurting constantly as a result and she\u2019s feeling miserable. She says she\u2019s got to work hard at them because she needs to be able to drive as soon as possible. She is looking forward to being able to get it wet for the first time tomorrow, although she\u2019s worried about it too.<\/p>\n
