My Mistress is going to ring Megan today to see what the news is. She was having a blood test yesterday to see which day she would be going to meet Leon for mating. It\u2019s likely to be sometime in the next week. We have all our paws crossed that things go well. I just hope he doesn\u2019t get too put off by her ear, but hey he\u2019s a boy and frankly one smell of those hormones and he won\u2019t notice her ear. He probably wouldn\u2019t notice if both her ears were missing altogether \u2013 he\u2019s a boy!<\/p>\n
My Mistress did her podcast interview yesterday and then realised she\u2019d missed something important, but the joy of it being pre-recorded was that they could add that bit in and no one will ever know. I\u2019ll tell you when it is live on the Dog World website just in case you want to hear her. She was very glad when it was over.<\/p>\n
My Mistress has been talking to us all about summer holidays. She is looking at going on a boat again, because she enjoyed it so much last year. The good news is that we boys are going this year instead of the girls, the bad news is if she goes ahead with the plan there\u2019s going to be water involved and that\u2019s not my thing. I said couldn\u2019t we stay on dry land, but apparently that\u2019s not so much fun, although frankly I can\u2019t see it myself. They need to get a map of the Belgian waterways to see where they need to go if they are to moor at the bottom of my Mum\u2019s garden. For me that\u2019s the only good thought of being on water, being able to call in to my Mum\u2019s house. I won\u2019t be mentioning to my sister that I don\u2019t like water as she\u2019ll probably push me in deliberately if she knows!<\/p>\n
