We are missing Megan very much. With having the boys around since my Master and Mistress got back from holiday it wasn\u2019t so noticeable that she wasn\u2019t here. Now we\u2019re back to normal, except it isn\u2019t at all normal. I suppose normal is a slightly glib term. Shadow is coming into season and is hormonal. She\u2019s at that stage where she really wants to play and she and Ari are driving my Mistress mad chasing round the office and playing tag the whole time. I\u2019m just trying to keep out of it.<\/p>\n
My Mistress should have been having her operation today so she\u2019s a bit fed up that she\u2019s got to wait. It wouldn\u2019t have been so bad if she hadn\u2019t scared herself reading the advice leaflet. It\u2019s the bit where they talk about sawing through her bone that has really spooked her. She doesn\u2019t fancy the idea of being awake and hearing them doing that. They have told her that they give her headphones but she says that most music that places like that play would be enough to have her admitted to the mental health unit. She\u2019s wondering how they would react if she turns up with a talking book on cd and asks them to put that on instead. She\u2019s working her way through everything Terry Pratchett has ever written in the order he wrote it. It\u2019s keeping her happy in the car, so I can\u2019t really complain. Well, that\u2019s not true, I can complain she keeps telling me her favourite lines and that is really annoying when you haven\u2019t heard the whole thing and they are out of context.<\/p>\n
My Mistress has put my office bed under her desk. She was fed up the other day that \u2018someone\u2019 had moved it to by the window. No one owned up to the move. That\u2019s because she asked the humans. Today with only us around when it moved again she realised it was one of us. It was me. I was fed up with her foot kicking me every time she stretched her legs out. I\u2019m not studpid!<\/p>\n
