We need some more upmarket friends. Not enough of our friends and family read broadsheet newspapers. The puppy pen is much easier to lay out with broadsheets and the puppies are much less prone to running off with sheets of newspaper to play tug. When you lay it out with tabloids there are too many joins inviting puppies to pull at the sheets and when they run over them they often move. It\u2019s not totally the fault of our friends. It\u2019s partly the newspaper industry\u2019s fault for switching from broadsheet to tabloid layout. The Independent and the Guardian really don\u2019t have the puppy pen laying out public in mind when they change the size of their papers. Oh, it\u2019s all very well countering with the fact that there are more sheets, yes that\u2019s true but they are of little use when the puppies are running round the pen with them in their mouths.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The last of the Christmas visitors will be leaving today and we can have two weeks of devoted puppy enjoyment before the go off to their new homes. My Mistress is already thinking about how hard it\u2019s going to be to say goodbye to some of them. It\u2019s going to be a real wrench. It\u2019s good that she\u2019s got the four of us to help her. There is the small matter of catching up on her work as well. She\u2019s got big plans for my business for this year and I really ought to show willing to help her seeing as it\u2019s all in my name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hopefully when the puppies do leave we will still be able to bring you regular pupdates. We took lots of pictures yesterday so hopefully I\u2019ll upload those tomorrow to bring you the latest. We need to do a new video too and still want to bring you a mealtime video. It\u2019s probably about time to introduce the big puppy feeder, which is much more photogenic than the little bowls. I\u2019ll talk to my Mistress to see if we can do that this weekend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
