If you\u2019ve been following the coverage, you will realise that the five little puppies spend a lot of time feeding. At this stage all they do is eat and sleep and, of course in Britannia\u2019s case, sing! At this stage they cannot regulate their own body temperature, so my Mistress is sitting in a very warm room with them. They cuddle closer to Shadow when they are cold and move away when they get too warm. We\u2019ve got a heat pad in another pen that they move to if Shadow has to leave them for more than a few minutes and for times like when my Mistress cleans out the pen \u2013 which of course you will get to see live on air! At this stage they only need cleaning out once a day which is not too arduous, but as they grow and create more waste, that will increase. I think in a day or so if you go over to the webcam you will be able to see their lovely new purple bedding. I don\u2019t think my Mistress is planning to use that for a day or two.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ari and I are keeping our distance. We are being well looked after, so you don\u2019t need to worry about us. Megan is staying in the Kennels until Saturday as she gets fed up if she can\u2019t have a long walk. She\u2019s ok. Missing us of course, but she\u2019s being very well looked after.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shadow is back to eating normally too, which is good news for both her and the puppies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
