Someone get so excited about an apple. My poor Mistress is still at the starting point of trying to reintroduce things into her diet having failed miserably with both of the attempts so far. Anyway, yesterday was the turn of the apple and to say she was positively excited would be an understatement. As long as nothing goes wrong she will be adding something else tomorrow and can\u2019t make her mind up between oats or melon. On the upside if she goes with oats she is one step nearer to having pancakes with bacon and maple syrup. We will wait to see.<\/p>\n
Aristotle headed down the swimming pool on his own yesterday without being asked. He\u2019d got back from swimming one length and just turned round to do the next one without a break in between. I know it doesn\u2019t sound much but it is a bit of a giveaway that he was enjoying himself. He\u2019d been to the garden centre before hand to buy the bowl he still owed his mother. He\u2019s had to save up for quite a while to replace the one he\u2019d broken, but to give him his due he did get her a nice replacement. He\u2019s given it to her this morning and she came over all tearful. I\u2019m guessing that\u2019s her hormones as much as anything. She and Megan are quite excited about next Tuesday. I don\u2019t know what sort of mood they will be in if one comes back saying she\u2019s pregnant and the other one that she isn\u2019t. I think they may have to be separated if that\u2019s the case so that the one who isn\u2019t doesn\u2019t get too upset. If they both are then it will be action stations getting everything ready. The first job will be to move the freezer and before that happens we need to empty it. I\u2019ve offered to help eating the contents.<\/p>\n
