I\u2019m just going to lie here with my paws over my eyes and ears until it all goes away. If I didn\u2019t know any better I\u2019d say that it won\u2019t be all that long until Megan starts her season too. You can just imagine how Aristotle is behaving, both his \u2018girlfriend\u2019 and his mother coming into season and he\u2019s in his prime. If he isn\u2019t sniffing and licking one or the other of them then he\u2019s kissing Megan or nibbling her ear. Whatever is he going to do when she gets pregnant by another dog? I can just see him now storming round to see them about what they\u2019ve been doing with his girlfriend. He\u2019s not going to take it well. To be honest I think it might be kinder to take the boy on one side and explain it all to him, but I just don\u2019t know where to start. \u2018Aristotle, your girlfriend will be paying for sex with another dog. It isn\u2019t that she doesn\u2019t respect you, little buddy, it\u2019s just that you can\u2019t give her puppies and the other dog will be able to.\u2019 I\u2019m just hoping if I get that far that he doesn\u2019t ask me questions about his mother\u2019s relationship with his father and why she\u2019s going to another dog next week. I know that once you get over the initial shock you can still build a relationship with your dad. I did and Megan will be seeing her dad when she goes to Switzerland with Shadow. It\u2019s going to have to come from me though. Shadow isn\u2019t in touch with either of her parents. We\u2019re the only family she knows. Although, she is in touch with her brothers. I think that\u2019s why her own children mean so much too her. She knows what sort of relationship she would have liked with her mum and dad and that\u2019s what she\u2019s trying to create for her own children. I\u2019m so happy for her that she should be back in time to see them all at the Fun Day, even if she won\u2019t be able to run around and play with them all.<\/p>\n
