Doggie paradise is back. The bar b q has been lit. Oh the opportunities to steal food. The chances to catch what\u2019s dropped and the joy of eating someone else\u2019s food in the great outdoors. The downside is the smoke in the house and having to fight the humans off to get to the food, but this is the life for a dog, or five. Fortunately my Mistress can eat neither burgers or sausages, so buys herself enough steak to have a spare mouthful for me. I\u2019m a spoilt dog, but you know what they say, \u2018a spoilt dog is a happy dog\u2019!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Other than that it was a quiet day in which my main job was to come up with questions for next week\u2019s pub quiz. By an error of marking in last week\u2019s quiz my Mistress\u2019s team which went under the banner of \u2018Hopeless\u2019 ended up winning. The prize for which is to set the next one. No amount of pleading ,that they really didn\u2019t score enough to win, worked and she is now faced with setting the Jubilee Quiz. We can\u2019t even talk about it with my Master as he will be taking part and I know you can\u2019t keep secrets so I\u2019d better not even tell you what the rounds are or I\u2019ll be in serious trouble with my Mistress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We have been working out how to get Amigo to his new home. It\u2019s complicated as he\u2019s going to live in Ireland. He\u2019s been asking lots of questions about what language they speak and whether he\u2019ll understand them. I\u2019ve told him he can help my Mistress with research for her new book, but he said it may be a while before he\u2019s ready for that. He can start thinking about that when he\u2019s settled in, although from looking at the map he might have to travel a little way to get to the right area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
