Now I know that some of you have needed counselling for the withdrawal symptoms since the end of the puppy videos, but I\u2019ve got good news for you, we\u2019re starting the countdown to the next series! Megan has started her season. It all gets a bit complicated for the next couple of weeks with my Mistress having to guess the correct timings of taking her to the stud dog. It isn\u2019t as though he\u2019s just round the corner, he\u2019s 500 miles away in the Netherlands. It means we can\u2019t leave it all to the last minute. At the moment our guess is that they will meet on about Sunday 29th<\/sup> April and if all goes well she will be having her puppies about 9 weeks later, so just in time for the summer. At least it means that my Mistress will have recovered from this trip before she sets off on the next one. It\u2019s going to be touch and go, but it may also just make it possible for Shadow to have a litter very soon afterwards as her season will start sometime in August. In the meantime I have to contend with hormonal women who are worried whether they are going to look their best and a hormonal male puppy who is in ecstasy about the smell of the hormonal woman! On the other paw, my Mistress is frantically trying to catch up with her work and make plans for another journey. Somehow I don\u2019t think she\u2019s going to be that much fun for the next few weeks! We will be packed off to Kennels I presume, but that won\u2019t be so bad. Having Ari for company definitely made it easier.<\/p>\n

I think I might run a competition to help choose the puppy names. I just need to talk to my Mistress about whether she will let me offer some prizes. I\u2019ll let you know soon.<\/p>\n
