I\u2019ve written a new song. This is to be sung to the tune of \u2018ten green bottles\u2019<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Seven young puppies playing in their pen,

\nand if one young puppy, should up and leave the den,
\nthere\u2019d be six young puppies playing in the pen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\nand if one young puppy should up and leave the den,
\nthere\u2019d be five young puppies crying in the pen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Feel free to join in when you think you\u2019ve got the hang of it!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s getting awfully quiet around here. Well it would be if the remaining puppies would stop crying. I think they have finally understood what is going on. Before when a puppy left the pen, sooner or later it came back, with the exception of tiny little Aisha, but they were only a matter of hours old at that point and hadn\u2019t really counted the size of the pack. Now they know that someone is missing and it\u2019s time to make their own way in the world. It\u2019s a<\/p>\n\n\n

scary place for an eight week old puppy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dora went off ok. She was quite quiet as she put her little harness on and sat in the car. Her new owners were lovely and very reassuring to her. She\u2019s going to let us know when she\u2019s home safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
