We are back to getting up early and my Mistress is not happy. When we came back from kennels she did sit down and ask if we would mind staying in bed until 7am so that she could keep more normal hours, or at least more similar to the rest of the family. Day one wasn\u2019t a problem we were all tired and actually slept in well past 7. She praised us and thanked us for our understanding. She was a little hasty on that front. It was just that we were tired and glad to be home in our own beds. We are now back to getting up at anything between 5.45 and 6.30am and she is less than pleased. To be honest she looks a little tired, but if she will stay up until 10pm playing the keyboard she only has herself to blame. I\u2019ve offered a deal. If she will stop making that noise and start doing something with us in an evening instead then we will cooperate on the staying in bed thing. It\u2019s not that staying in bed is any sort of hardship. It\u2019s just by that time I\u2019m ready to stretch my legs and gave a sniff at the world in case I\u2019m missing anything.<\/p>\n
I\u2019m pleased to say that at last my Mistress\u2019s ribs feel like they are making real progress in healing. It\u2019s taken a while and it probably means our next load of snow is due sometime soon, but for now she can come off having quite so many painkillers. I\u2019m not sure she is quite ready for us to jump on her. It may be another few weeks before that can be a painless exercise, but at least things are going in the right direction.<\/p>\n
