It would have been cute, but if I went posting pictures of me and Megan you would all think I\u2019d gone soft. My Mistress took a photo when we were in the car together. I was just comforting her. Megan isn\u2019t used to long car journeys and she wondered where we were going. The last time she had a really long trip was when she left her mum and she was concerned it might be like that again. Anyway, she now knows that going to my grandparents\u2019 house is fun and she can already twist our granddad round her little finger, except of course for a dog it\u2019s more a claw than a finger. I don\u2019t mind that as it leaves Granny to me. I should at this point publicly apologise to Granny for nipping her finger in my enthusiasm to get to the pork before Megan did, but what is a dog to do in that circumstance? My Mistress puts scraps in our bowls for a good reason!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Megan is actually in season and I know I have to be careful and not do what I did when Shadow was in season last. I know all the things the vet and my Mistress has told me about my own health and wellbeing, but a boy has urges. Sometimes he just can\u2019t help himself. My Mistress has threatened to put me in the crate for my own safety, but I\u2019m rather hoping she doesn\u2019t have to resort to that. I didn\u2019t show any interest in Shadow when she was Megan\u2019s age, so I\u2019m hoping that it won\u2019t have the same effect on me. My Mistress is taking extra care and not letting us play outside unsupervised, which is probably wise all things considered.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
