It is so exciting. Megan\u2019s travel plans to England are taking shape. I can\u2019t wait to see her. I\u2019ve even asked if I can have a bath ready for her arrival. I really want to look my best. I know I don\u2019t normally go in for things being washed, but I\u2019m planning to put all my beds and blankets through the wash so that if she wants to use any of them she won\u2019t find all the dirt I\u2019ve left behind. Shadow has said she needn\u2019t think that Megan is going anywhere near her bed and I told her not to be so mean. It isn\u2019t going to be easy for Megan having to wave her Mum off when she goes back to Switzerland and leaves Megan here. I know that both Shadow and I had to leave our mothers at one point but we were both quite young and hadn\u2019t had so much opportunity to really get to know our mums. We also know what it\u2019s like having our families living abroad. Mine are in Belgium. Shadow\u2019s are in Austria and Megan\u2019s will be in Switzerland. Shadow looked a bit deflated and asked whether I thought my Mistress would take her to Austria sometime so that she could see her mother. I\u2019m hoping to go to see my family later in the year, but then they live a lot closer. \u00a0I suppose it\u2019s hard for Shadow as she isn\u2019t even in touch with her family, although at least her brothers live in this country so she could see them. I had a word with my Mistress and she sat down with Shadow to tell her a little bit about the country her mother lives in. It\u2019s been quite a long time since my Mistress has been there, but she made it sound a very beautiful place and Shadow sat in rapt attention and started to ask lots of questions about the mountains and the meadows.
