I need to watch a programme called Magic Roundabout that was on television when Mum was small. At the moment, because she\u2019s having to wear knee braces she can\u2019t get her jeans on, so is wearing dresses. That\u2019s not so bad, except she\u2019s still wearing them with walking boots and socks. In her words she\u2019s modelling her appearance on a character called Florence. I just don\u2019t know who this Florence is. Even as I dog I can tell it\u2019s not a normal look for a human, but Mum doesn\u2019t seem the least bit concerned.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019ll say one thing for Aristotle some of the things he plants do very well. The marrows are taking over from the borage as the most likely to take over the house. Some of them are planted in the same bed as the borage and they are about to do battle. On the bright side there are going to be plenty of vegetables for us all to eat before the year is out. I hope we all like marrow as it\u2019s looking as though there is going to be an awful lot of them. There are two types so at least we will have some variety. We ate the first of the parsnips yesterday and will be starting on the carrots this week too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mum has put a doorstop in the door to what has become Ari\u2019s bedroom, but was formerly known as the bathroom. He\u2019s in there as it\u2019s cooler and to save keep moving his bed it\u2019s staying there until there is no more risk of hot weather for the year. The problem was he hit the door back against the wall running in there. Fortunately he only marked the wall, but Mum decided to take action before he managed to put the handle through the wall. It\u2019s not as though we\u2019ve not managed to do that before, but then that\u2019s what Polyfilla is for!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
