I\u2019m bored. I don\u2019t want to sit indoors for the next couple of days. I\u2019m an outdoors kind of girl and that\u2019s where I\u2019m happy. I like to prowl around the garden and keep an eye on what is going on. Mum has said for the next three days I will only be going out when she says I can. In the meantime we\u2019re stuck indoors and it\u2019s just not the same. Oh, I know it\u2019s safety first, but it just shouldn\u2019t be as hot as this and then everything would be fine. We aren\u2019t really hot weather dogs. A double layer of black fur is not a good mix with hot sunny days. If this country continues to have hot spells like these Mum says we are going to have to make some changes to the house.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
You wouldn\u2019t think it was possible to have too many windows, but it really is. Our house is very light, that\u2019s the good side. The bad side according to Mum, apart from the heat, is all the dog nose prints on the glass. That\u2019s more Ari than me. I try to remember not to put my nose right up to the window. Mum has been looking into heat reducing film to put on some of the windows but it could be a big job and she\u2019s already got a long list of jobs she isn\u2019t getting around to, so I can\u2019t see it happening anytime soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I suppose I shouldn\u2019t feel too sorry for myself. Mum did get up really early so we could all have time outside before it got hot. She\u2019s also promised to take us out later, so I\u2019m probably being an unreasonable dog moaning about the bit in the middle. Despite that, I\u2019m still going to moan as I\u2019d rather be out all day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
