There\u2019s too much painting going on around here. I want to be outside. It would be so much better if were spending the weekend gardening. Mum says that she\u2019s a bit of a fair weather gardener, which suits Aristotle\u2019s needs very well, but what about me? I\u2019m an all weather dog and I just love being outdoors. Oh I know Mum has just ordered a whole load of rose bushes so we\u2019ll have to be outside when she\u2019s planting those, but I don\u2019t want to wait. As you know, I\u2019m not a patient dog. Whilst Aristotle might enjoy looking out of the hall window and shouting to tell us who is going past, that\u2019s not my idea of how to spend a day. Especially not with the amount Shadow farts \u2013 that really is best taken outdoors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It wasn\u2019t even as though it was particularly bad weather yesterday. Ok, so it was colder than it looked but it only rained for some of the day. There\u2019s more rain forecast today so I\u2019m guessing it\u2019s going to be another frustrating day. I\u2019m going to have to come up with plans of mischief if this continues. I can see why Mum now wants to finish the kitchen painting. It is such a mess in there. She\u2019s had to take everything off the work surfaces and shelves so she can\u2019t actually find anything. It\u2019s ok, I know where my food is so there\u2019s no real problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think I\u2019ve negotiated a concession for today. If I stop being such a nuisance and the rain stops then I can help Mum take some bricks down the garden to where she needs to put the base for the garden seat. Better still, as Ari\u2019s legs are hurting and Shadow wants some peace and quiet she\u2019s promised it will be just the two of us. That\u2019s just how I like it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
