We miss Derrings. That was the wonderful kennels we used to go to and we really miss it. Of course most of the time a dog would much rather be at home with their humans, but there are exceptions. Mum isn\u2019t very well at the moment so she wants peace and quiet and calm. She isn\u2019t up for playing outside or spending lots of time outside so we can just run around. This would be the perfect time for me to have a few days break with my doggy friends, causing mayhem and giving Mum a break. Oh I know you\u2019re going to say that we could find somewhere else, but it\u2019s not that easy. Mum has visited a few places and nowhere she has seen yet is a patch on where we used to stay. I do hope the dogs who stay there know just how lucky they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Ok, so Shadow is always behaving oddly as far as I\u2019m concerned but she\u2019s not being her usual odd self at the moment, she\u2019s being differently odd. She\u2019s been barking quite a lot for one thing. What has really worried Mum is that twice she has just carried on walking in the direction of the pond as though she was going to end up walking straight in. She\u2019s going through another phase of not hearing well too. It did seem to improve for a while. Anyway, the upshot of that was her not hearing Mum when she was calling Shadow to stop. Mum ended up having to run across the garden to divert her from the pond. I have to say from my point of view it was quite funny, but it does mean Mum doesn\u2019t want to let Shadow out of her sight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
