I\u2019ve got a sore eyelid. I don\u2019t know how it started, but I was rubbing it and Mum stopped me. She\u2019s examined it and bathed it with salt water and has said if it doesn\u2019t look any better later then she will take me to the vet. It means going to my new vet as it\u2019s too far to go to our lovely old vets. I really want it to be better so I don\u2019t have to go. You know what it\u2019s like though, as soon as you know there\u2019s something not quite right then you just can\u2019t leave it alone. Mum wasn\u2019t feeling so good yesterday either. I think she\u2019d overdone it a bit driving up to pick me up. We mooched about together for the day and spend some of it snuggled up on the bed resting. It worked well for both of us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We did get the triffids out of the car. It nearly went badly wrong with the heavy blueberry plant, but there\u2019s only slight bruising to show for it. The others came out willingly, with their branches up in submission. They have been lined up outside where we\u2019re staying and to be honest it\u2019s quite hard to find the door. Now we have the problem that there is no way that Mum is going to be able to get the blueberry back into the car on her own, but that\u2019s next week\u2019s problem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My collar tag has arrived. It\u2019s at my grandparents at the moment, but we are going over to pick it up this weekend. It means when I move in to our new house next week my collar will have all the right details on. I know it\u2019s a silly think to be excited about, but it mattered to me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
