Ok, so there was a bit of an argument when I went back to kennels yesterday. I didn\u2019t want to swap over with Shadow. I wanted to stay with Mum. It wasn\u2019t me who started it. Mum wanted to cuddle Aristotle and I was expected to wait quietly with Shadow. Shadow just snapped at me. I might have snapped back, but that\u2019s beside the point. How selfish can Shadow be? There she was about to leave with Mum for a week and she snaps at me. Anyway, Mum told us both off. It was too hot for Mum to spend time outside with Ari, so they had a cuddle and he asked to go home. I almost felt sorry for him. He really has had enough of being apart from Mum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Anyway, Mum reassured Aristotle that it will only be another couple of weeks. Reluctantly he came back in to join me and we waved Shadow off \u2013 and then he howled. He howled all the while until we heard Mum drive away. Thankfully, he stopped then, which was good as it would have been a real pain to share a kennel with him otherwise. Now I\u2019m just counting the hours down until next Wednesday when Shadow and I swap again. At least that will be the last time we do a swap. Our next visit will be to collect the other two and all be reunited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shadow says she\u2019s looking forward to a fairly quiet week. She does want to go to the woods we\u2019ve been working on, but mostly she just wants to enjoy being with Mum. She will also enjoy the trips to our grandparents. I get stressed when I go there, but Shadow loves it, so she\u2019ll have quite a full week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
