Today is good and bad all rolled into one. The good is that we\u2019re going to see Mum. It\u2019s been a long week waiting to see her again. Both she and I have reached the point where we\u2019re finding it hard being apart. I\u2019ve already told you how jealous I am of Shadow. I want to go home with Mum and I know Mum feels the same way. She says life just isn\u2019t right without me by her side. She says she never wants to be separated from me again, ever. And quite honestly, that\u2019s just fine by me.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bad news is that it looks as though we aren\u2019t going to complete on our house purchase quite as soon as we hoped. Mum and Dad are doing everything they can to make sure we\u2019re ready, but it turns out there might be delays the other side. I don\u2019t want to complain too much as I think Mum is pretty low about it all. She has promised that once Shadow has had some time with her then she will do a swap so that she and I can have some time, but it now means I will have to come back to kennels for a while too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She has told us we just need to be patient. Thankfully, that\u2019s something Aristotle is quite good at. Mum has told him she is really hoping that we will all be with her for his birthday in September, so that\u2019s something to aim for. It\u2019s no good me getting cross with Mum about it all, there\u2019s nothing she can do about it and she really is fed up. I hope Shadow can cheer her up a bit. Unfortunately it looks like being another hot day, which may mean a short visit again. Oh well, it\u2019s better than nothing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
