Well I\u2019m having fun with lots of new friends. My birthday wasn\u2019t bad at all. If I\u2019m being honest, I think Mum missed me more than I missed her, but don\u2019t tell her I said that. I know she\u2019s counting the days down until she sees us. I\u2019m looking forward to it too, but being a dog I\u2019m living in the moment and making the most of each day. It\u2019s a good way to live. It stops us getting too sad about things.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mum says she is at last getting some time to start planning for our new home. The most important work to have done before we can move in with her, apart from finding our beds, is improving the fence. The fence as it is will be fine for Shadow and Aristotle. It\u2019s me that\u2019s the problem apparently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I\u2019m a Rickental (that\u2019s the kennel I\u2019m from). Anyway, our line of dogs is rather known for our ability to jump. Oh you should see us. Dog gates are just hurdling practice as far as I\u2019m concerned. I will stay where Mum wants me to be only as long as it suits me. This could be a problem in the new house. Two sides of the garden border fields with sheep in. I cannot promise that I won\u2019t have the urge to get to know them better. Mum is planning to increase the height of the fence so that I can\u2019t. Frankly I see that as a challenge, but she tells me I mustn\u2019t think that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mum says the other things we need to do can happen over time. She wants gates on the drive so we can all help in the front garden when she\u2019s out there. That will be fun. We couldn\u2019t work in our old front garden as the front fence wouldn\u2019t have kept us in. We just sat behind the gate patiently waiting for her to come back. It will be so much more fun to be able to help.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I think it might be time to start getting a little bit excited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
