Today is Freedom Day. Dad\u2019s test was negative. As long as Mum lets him out he will be free. Mum says she will still check his temperature to be on the safe side, but then he can come down to see all of us. Shadow has been howling since the middle of yesterday with her excitement. Mum has appreciated that Ari and I have been a little more reserved in our excitement. One dog in the household with a tendency to howl is more than enough for anyone. Even I think that and I\u2019m a dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mum has wondered if being \u2018April Fool\u2019s Day\u2019 she should just tell Dad he has to stay in his room for another week. Thankfully when she said that it was three against one and the three of us said we\u2019d stage a breakout for Dad if she did that. She knows I can break out of almost anywhere, so she knows there is meaning behind the threat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Just a little reminder to all you dogs to stay safe this weekend. You know what humans are like, especially the small ones. They are very likely to have chocolate Easter eggs around the house. In my experience they may leave them in places that would be easy for you to find. However, you MUST NOT go on an Easter egg hunt unless it is for a special dog friendly egg. Chocolate could make you very ill or worse! It\u2019s not that good for humans but you can\u2019t eat it safely at all, even in small amounts. It\u2019s best if your humans remember to leave it out of the way, but they can\u2019t always be relied on for that. Stay safe this Easter \u2013 no one wants to spend Easter at the vet!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
