Ours is an old one that we\u2019ve had for years. The most similar one I can find is the Nina Ottoson one <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nina-ottosson.com\/products\/all-products\/dog-hide-n-slide-composite-new.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">HERE<\/a>.&nbsp;As with others I\u2019ve shown you, the idea is that you hide treats and your dog has to work out how to get them. There are two types of compartment on our one. The slide part is quite easy as you can just move that with your nose. It doesn\u2019t take long for it to happen accidentally, so you soon work out what to do.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-embed-handler wp-block-embed-embed-handler wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" title=\"Hide and Slide Dog Treat Toy\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/4HcugHjJ1XM?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Lift up Compartments<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Ours has lift up compartments on a little scrolling wheel. As you will see on the video that Aristotle did, he found it easier just to find what point he could press with his nose to open it than to scroll. This is one we prefer to play with having a human alongside to guide us and take part. If humans leave us to play on our own then we tend to get fed up and walk away. It\u2019s one of those we\u2019ll be inclined to put on the too difficult pile.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">It&#8217;s all about balance<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>A good dog toy is about balance. We stay engaged for two reasons 1) there is enough likelihood of getting the food in a reasonable space of time 2) it involves interaction with our human and they attention we most enjoy.
