It is so not fair. I want to go with him. I\u2019ve never been snow shoeing. Now to be fair, we dogs don\u2019t actually have snow shoes but our humans do. Mum\u2019s are still pristine and unused. She got them for last winter then broke her ankle before we even got there. The previous year we went for a walk that she realised she would only be able to do if she had snow shoes so we had to turn around. Now we\u2019re stuck here and my sister got to take Dad instead. I\u2019m so disappointed. I keep telling myself that this won\u2019t be forever, but some days it does rather feel that way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/WhatsApp-Image-2020-12-05-at-13.36.15-1024x578.jpeg\" alt=\"Dad going snow shoeing with my sister Valeria\" class=\"wp-image-18315\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Who are you talking to?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There is nothing worse for an inquisitive dog than their human not putting the phone on speaker so that they can hear the conversation too. There I was putting my head over Mum\u2019s shoulder to ask her not to leave me out and she thought it was funny and took my photo. If she\u2019d remembered to put the phone on speaker so I could talk to Dad too then I wouldn\u2019t have had to ask. I didn\u2019t expect her to find it amusing. Mind you, I did have a phone call from my sister Tosca yesterday and it was lovely to hear how they are all doing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/alfiedog.me.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/12\/IMG_9524-763x1024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-18316\" width=\"382\" height=\"512\"\/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Holiday<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Yesterday, Mum finished the first draft of the book she\u2019s been writing. It\u2019s really good news as she can now spend a bit more time helping me make the changes I\u2019m trying to do to my diary. She\u2019s told me I can\u2019t have all her time as the others have asked if she\u2019d sit in the lounge with them and read or watch films too. I hope I\u2019m not left working while they all have fun.
