Spoiled Dog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Shadow is a spoiled dog! Oh she milked the poorly tummy incident for everything she could get out of it. \u201cYou can\u2019t possibly leave me downstairs while you go back to have breakfast in bed. What if I need to go out?\u201d Mum gave in much too easily if you ask me. I didn\u2019t get to be part of breakfast in bed because obviously I didn\u2019t complain in the right way. How a dog who is over eleven years old and supposedly feeling unwell can suddenly find the energy to overcome her arthritic hip and jump onto the bed is beyond me. She managed. I think Mum is being soft on her as she knows just how upset Shadow will be when Dad goes back next week. Dad spoils Shadow all the time and I do mean ALL. He loves me, don\u2019t get me wrong. Shadow, on the other paw, can do no wrong in his eyes and she\u2019s making the most of it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Paddling Pool<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I\u2019m getting exciting as we think my paddling pool is on the way to me at last. We’re not sure how it\u2019s going to arrive but it seems to say it\u2019s been despatched now. I\u2019m planning to stand at the front window and watch for its arrival. The great thing with lockdown is that Mum isn\u2019t using the car much. That\u2019s good because she has said my paddling pool can go on the paving where she normally turns the car round. That way it can be left out ready for me to play in each day. I guess I\u2019ll need to put some clean water in sometimes, but not every day. Shadow and I can\u2019t wait to try it out. I shan\u2019t mind even if it isn\u2019t a sunny day, although Mum might complain if I shake all over her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
