That was odd<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well that was odd. Obviously, I\u2019ve known that Dad is in the house in theory, but I hadn\u2019t seen him yet. There I was out in the garden yesterday when he shouted out of the window to me. I went bonkers with excitement. I just wanted to go to find him but Mum says I can\u2019t yet \u2013 how mean is that? She has promised I will be the first to see him when he is allowed to join us on Monday afternoon, but until then I have to be patient. Do you know how hard it is for me to be patient? Dad did the same thing when Aristotle went out, but he just wagged his tail and then carried on with what he was doing. Let\u2019s be honest, he\u2019s a real \u2018mummies boy\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Lap Dog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Mum has been spending some time every afternoon sitting with Aristotle to cheer him up. He\u2019s on crate rest at the moment so it\u2019s not much fun for him. To be fair he\u2019s the most laid back dog and doesn\u2019t seem to mind, but Mum still doesn\u2019t want him to feel too left out. Anyway, you can tell he\u2019s feeling a bit better as when Mum sat in the chair yesterday, he insisted on climbing on her lap. It\u2019s not that big a chair, but a human having a 27kg dog on their knee is definitely not what it\u2019s designed for.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ari\u2019s front leg is much better, but his back one has a long way to go. I think he\u2019s going to be on crate rest for a while.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Plan for the day<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Well my plan for the day is to spend some time outdoors in the garden. If I can get away with it, I\u2019m hoping to do a bit more digging and eat a stick or two. I hope you\u2019re having fun too.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
