Well, Buddy has his fifteen minutes of fame on television and suddenly everyone wants to know about Entlebucher Mountain Dogs. It just goes to show how powerful television can be, which is slightly scary. Dad is our Club\u2019s Puppy Secretary. He is being very busy indeed answering all the enquiries from people who would like to share their lives with a beautiful dog like me. Not everyone decides to go ahead and join the waiting list, which is a good job as there aren\u2019t enough of us for that. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The fun bit is that before they can join the list, one of us\nhas to approve them. I don\u2019t mean just the four of us, all of the dogs in the\nUK get asked to do an assessment every once in a while. We usually take them\nfor a walk and give them a good sniff and then tell our humans what to feed\nback to Dad about the visit. We are far better judges than the humans are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The weather isn\u2019t much fun again. It made me realise that\nbeing in the lounge for Alfie has meant I\u2019ve missed out on log fires this\nwinter. I hadn\u2019t really thought about it. I like lying in the chair near the\nwood burning in the office while Mum works. It is a very cosy way to nap\nbetween my burst of frenetic energy. Central heating isn\u2019t so much fun at all.\nMum will have lived in the lounge to be with Alfie for three months by this\nweekend. It\u2019s really weird having a whole house but living in one room. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Alfie\u2019s started a new phase where, although he only wants to\nbe in the lounge, he doesn\u2019t like it if you close the door, even if you\u2019re in\nthere with him. Mum has no idea what that\u2019s about and neither does Alfie.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
