My niece, Izzy, is making us wait. She had a progesterone test yesterday, but it\u2019s still not time for her to set off to meet her boyfriend. She will have another test on Wednesday and we think she will be setting off either later that day or the following one. I\u2019m just sitting here biting my claws in anticipation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
It is so frustrating that I won\u2019t be going to Crufts. I really\nthink I could have done well this year. I\u2019m at the age where I\u2019ve grown up a bit\nso might have remembered to behave responsibly and Mum says I\u2019ve never looked\nso good. I did fancy a chance of making it into the big ring. Now I\u2019m going to\nhave to persuade Mum to qualify me for next year and see if I can keep my\nfigure is such good shape until then. I suppose if I think about it, that will\nhelp me to lay off the biscuits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019re missing Dad. We\u2019ve all decided that non-essential international\ntravel doesn\u2019t make a lot of sense right now. It means he won\u2019t be coming home\nto see me in a couple of weeks as he\u2019d planned to. Obviously he was coming to\nsee Mum too, so she is sad about it as well. Given that, as a dog, I can\u2019t\ncatch the virus, I was wondering if I\u2019d be allowed to travel unaccompanied so I\ncould go and see him on my own. Mum says she\u2019d put a little tag around my neck\nsaying \u2018please look after this dog\u2019, but I strongly suspect it wouldn\u2019t\nactually be allowed, even if I did open my passport at the right page for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If things are still ok by breakfast, Mum is putting Alfie back\nonto all his tablets that he couldn\u2019t have while he was ill. She wants to see\nif she can get him a bit more settled again to have a little time without her\nbeing there to hold his paw. I do hope it works as it will make our walks\neasier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
