Well I don\u2019t really know if it\u2019s supposed to be spring or winter. One minute the sun is shining and if you can find a spot out of the cold wind, then it\u2019s actually quite nice. The next minute we\u2019re being threatened with more snow. Did I say that with a straight face? Mum really doesn\u2019t want any snow, but I do. I want lots of snow. Shadow and Alfie feel the cold more these days, so neither of them are keen and obviously with only one good leg out of four at the moment Ari doesn\u2019t think it\u2019s such a good idea. I on the other paw want enough to be able to roll around in and bury my snout deep into it, and of course to build a snow-dog. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
While we\u2019re on the subject of the weather, we\u2019ve got more\nroads around us closed because of flooding. Then they\u2019ve gone and forecast even\nmore rain. Another yellow warning for the weekend. I think that is four\nweekends running. It\u2019s so mean. Why can\u2019t they forecast some sun?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The bad news is that we won\u2019t be going to Crufts. Here\u2019s me in\nthe best shape I\u2019ve ever been in. I\u2019ve worked really hard to get my waistline\nnice and trim and my coat glossy and now we\u2019re staying at home. Alfie\u2019s had a\ntummy bug and it\u2019s rather knocked the stuffing out of him. Mum says she isn\u2019t\nputting him into kennels when it isn\u2019t necessary. \u2018Apparently\u2019 my desire to win\nisn\u2019t considered necessary. Obviously I was looking forward to seeing my\nfriends too, but it was mainly about the winning. On the note of Alfie\u2019s upset\ntummy, if anyone knows how to get the smell on our porch to disappear I\u2019d be\nvery grateful. He didn\u2019t quite get out in time the other night and despite\nseveral lots of disinfecting the smell keeps coming back. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
